Alessandro Giardelli: victory on his debut in TCR Italy
Last weekend at the Mugello circuit the young talent from Lariano made his debut on the track in the Italian TCR championship, a decidedly positive debut at the wheel of a Cupra, which saw him prevail on Matteo Poloni, on Audi, and Carlotta Fedeli, on Volkswagen Golf.

After the pole position in qualifying and the victory of the three races held over the weekend, Alessandro Giardelli managed to dominate highly experienced drivers with great palmares, confirming that he is a promise of the "Lario" motoring.
Alessandro Giardelli, determined driver born in 2002, supported by Nausika Yacht and Lario Motorsport, has excellent karting background and his training and results have taken shape both in Italy and abroad, culminating in 2015 with the Italian title KFJ.Even Max Pigoli, highly decorated coach of Lario Motorsport team and talent scout of the young driver says:
"Alessandro is a determined driver and shows that he knows which direction to look."
BD Racing team principal Davide Bernasconi in a recent interview said of the young debutant: "He is a very promising driver: he is only seventeen years old, he comes from karting and immediately found the right feeling with touring cars"
Alessandro Giardelli, satisfied with the results obtained said:
"I feel very motivated and also confident for future races, I am calm and I hope to stay ahead! ... I would like to thank my coach and my family for the continuous support they give me.
In the last few months I have done a lot of gym and I went karting on the Lario Motorsport track. This will be my first year in the car, I expect to learn, to improve more and more and to get excellent results "
Thanks to his success at Mugello, the young driver's team is currently first in the standings of the Italian championship and aims to replicate the success at the next round of 1 and 2 August in Misano Adriatico.
